Now, as the 50th anniversary of that first moon landing approaches, we've teamed up with Charlie Duke to add his mark to these San Francisco Mint-struck 1972 Eisenhower Dollar Silver Proofs. Minted the same year the Apollo 16 mission took flight, each coin has been certified by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) as being in gorgeous Gem Proof condition I got a 1972, 1974, 1976 and a 1977. All coins were stained and the 1976 had some really dark toning (see attached image). I can find 4 Eisenhower Dollars of this quality (or better) at our local bank for $4 instead of $12. It was nice having them delivered to my door though. I'm a little disappointed, but wiser from this purchase
